Who builds websites for small businesses in Delhi?

What to look for in the person or shop that builds a site for a single business in Delhi NCR, including the limits of one person.

NexBuilt builds websites for small businesses in Delhi NCR. I am one person in New Delhi, not a directory of every studio in the city, and I will not invent a list of shops I have not sat in.

If you need someone this month and I am already in a build, I will say so. The useful question is not who is out there. It is whether the person in front of you will hand you a site that opens on a phone, in your name.

What you are actually hiring

The websites job is a working page, not a logo on a slide. It has to open on a mid range phone over patchy mobile data. It has to say what you do. A Thursday night visitor has to reach a booking or a number before the page is still spinning. The name on the domain and the host is yours.

A dental clinic in Green Park and a gym in Saket are not the same week. The person you hire has to hear that week before they quote. A shop that sends a package PDF before they ask what the phone does on Thursday is selling a package, not a site.

I start at Rs 30,000 on the pricing page. That is this studio’s floor, not a Delhi average. I have not audited every studio, and a made up market size would only make a bad quote look normal. How much a site costs is the number page. This page is the person page.

One person is a limit

I am one person in New Delhi. There is no project manager behind me and no ticket queue. That is useful when something breaks at 7pm. It is also why I cannot take every job this month.

If I am already building a site, your call goes on a wait, or I tell you to keep looking. I will not pretend I can run three clinics and a gym in the same fortnight. One person has one fortnight.

An agency can take more work because they hand it to someone you will never meet. That is a real trade. Some owners want a room of people and a weekly slide. Some owners want one inbox and a straight answer. Freelancer, agency, or a website builder is that comparison. I will not pretend I am the agency side of it.

A builder account you click together yourself is the other option. It is cheaper on day one. It is more expensive the first time you need it to do one specific thing well. I will say if that is enough for you. I will not talk you out of it so I can bill a custom build.

What to look for, since this is not a directory

Open the last site they shipped, on a mid range Android, on mobile data, not on their office wifi. How to choose a website developer is the checklist. If that page takes a wait longer than they will sit, keep walking. People leave after three seconds. A pretty page that arrives after they have gone did not do the job.

Ask who the domain is registered to. Ask where the files live. Ask what happens when you want the Tuesday hours changed in March. If the answers are vague, you are buying a relationship you cannot leave.

I will tell you if the site you already have is fine. Most of the clinic sites I have timed are not. On those nine clinic pages the middle was 8.8s, 2.4 MB, 54. Against that pile, the sample was 1.7s, 89 KB, and a 100. Those numbers are measurements of those pages, not a promise about yours.

If their last three sites all look like the same theme with a different logo, you already know what you will get. If they will not put the domain in your name, you already know who the site is for.

What I will not do

I will not list every studio in Delhi NCR. I have not worked at them. A directory I invented would be an ad wearing a helpful face.

I will not tell you a one person shop is always better. If you need six people in a room next week, that is not me. If you need one person who will say when the job is above the floor, that is this studio.

I will not tell you that hiring me brings more patients. A page that loads can be used. Whether they then book is still your area, your reviews, your hours, and whether someone replies. That last part is a different job.

I will not take a job I cannot finish because I want the week to look full. An honest no this month is cheaper than a site that sits half built while I finish someone else’s.

What to do

Write the Thursday night list. Who finds it. What they do next. If the list is a pin, the hours, and a WhatsApp button, you are near the floor. If the list is three diaries and two languages, you are not.

Then get in touch. Tell me what the page has to do on a Thursday night. If I can take it, I will say what it costs after that. If I cannot, I will say that too, and I will not send a follow up sequence to change your mind.

The ones people actually ask.

Should I hire one person or an agency?

One person is who you call when something breaks. An agency is a logo and a project manager. I am one person in New Delhi. That is the point, and it is also the limit. I cannot take every job this month.

Who owns the site after you build it?

You do. A builder who will not put the domain and the code in your name is renting you a page.

What if I already have a site that works?

Then you may not need me. If it opens on a mid range phone and people can book from it, I will say so on the call and stop bothering you.

If it can be automated, NexBuilt will say so. If it cannot, you will hear that too. No proposal, no follow up sequence, just an answer.
