What happens if I do nothing and just keep going as I am?
The week stays the week you already have. Missed rings, a slow page, and a listing with last year's hours do not heal themselves. What that costs is a sum only you can work.
Nothing happens except the week you already have, again. A dental clinic that already loses the 11am ring while a filling is on, and a salon whose WhatsApp sits until the colour is washed off, will still lose those two on Monday. I will not invent a city penalty for standing still.
I will also not tell you standing still is always wrong. If the listing is true, the phone is answered, and the page already opens, buying a stack is the hole.
What does not heal itself
A page that is still opening when they leave still is still opening when they leave next month. People leave after three seconds. I timed nine clinic pages at 8.8s, 2.4 MB, PageSpeed 54 in the middle of that set. That set is clinics. A salon URL needs its own weigh.
A listing with last year’s Sunday still reads last year’s Sunday. Google’s local ranking page says complete, accurate information makes a profile more likely to show. They do not say the hours correct themselves.
A missed ring is still a missed ring. Business lost from missed calls is how to work that product from your log, not from a Delhi average I do not have. A site not touched in five years is the page version of the same stall. Is this worth the money is the spend question once you have the product.
Work the loss from last week, not from a slogan
Take the Green Park clinic Monday. The 11am line rang while a filling was on. The caller wanted a walk in. Nobody picked up. That is one miss. Write it down. Do not wait for a city report.
Take the salon the same week. A colour enquiry sat on WhatsApp until the bowl was washed. By then the stranger had booked elsewhere. That is a second miss. Write that down too.
Now do the product. Missed times fee times close. Missed is the count you just wrote. Fee is the usual job on your card, the cleaning or the colour you already charge. Close is the share of enquiries you already turn into a chair, not a rate I invent. If you do not keep a close rate, stop at missed times fee. That is a ceiling, not a forecast.
I will not estimate your loss. I will not turn that product into a payback month. If the product is smaller than the floor of the job you were about to buy, doing nothing this quarter is the cheaper honest line. Website floor Rs 30,000. Voice Rs 25,000. Inbox Rs 15,000. Those floors sit on pricing. They are not your loss.
How to put a rupee on the stall, without my guess
Work it from last week.
- Rings that went to voicemail, or chats that sat overnight. Your count.
- The fee you already charge for the usual job. Your card.
- The share of enquiries you already turn into a chair or a booking. Your close, not mine.
If that product is smaller than the floor, wait. If that product is larger than the floor and the hole is still the same next Monday, hope is not a plan I sell.
What doing nothing still costs that is not rupees
You keep answering the same three questions by mouth. A counsellor at a coaching centre already knows that tax. A receptionist already knows it. I will not call that tax a disease. I will call it a week.
You keep pointing ads at a spinner, if you already buy ads. That spend is yours to stop. I will not invent how many of those taps bounce.
When I will tell you to wait
The phone is covered. The listing hours match the door. The page opens before three seconds and states a fee. The pile on WhatsApp is short by Friday. Then a website or booking automation is not the next bill.
When I will not tell you to wait: you already counted the missed rings, and the product is larger than the floor, and you still hope the week will change without a change. Hope is not a plan I sell.
Downside of acting just to act
You can buy a page and leave the listing wrong. You can buy an inbox and never look at it. Both are worse than the stall, because you have spent and the week is the same.
What to do with last week’s marks
Keep the three numbers on one card. If the product is real and the hole is a page, a phone, or a pile, that card is the brief.
Send the card. I will match it to a floor I already publish, or I will tell you the marks do not justify a build and the stall is the cheaper week.
